How it factors into your estimate
- Tonnage uses a stated square-feet-per-ton rule of thumb and airflow at roughly 1 CFM per square foot.
- A load calculation replaces those rules before equipment is ordered.
- Flags a 240V/480V permanent power requirement when the site only has temporary or 120V power.
